I am Dmitrijs Mihailovs from Daugavpils, Latvia. I have graduated at Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, learned in prof. Eduardas Gabnys class. I have enjoyed Vilnius and its citizens a lot, so I have decided to stay in Lithuania. Accordion music fascinates me since the childhood. I’m truly glad that I found some friends which are also “in love” with music. With them we have created a group “Subtilu-Z”. I am also interested in the financial markets, especially currency market “Forex”.

Povilas Velikis. I was born in Siauliai, in a family of people not connected with music. From the childhood I was involved with a sound, an accordion sound. I’ve started to learn music more seriously at Siauliai musical school, then in Siauliai conservatory and later in the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Music for me is not only the art of sound, it is also philosophy of life. I’m glad, that nobody has prevented me from starting the search for depths of this art. Has very much carried, that it was possible to find not only good colleagues and interesting adherents, but also fine and sincere friends, the strong personalities, and it is all in ensemble “Subtilu-Z”. I am an optimist, I do believe, that the person during his life can reach everything he wants and is worthy. Without this belief it would be difficult to find an existence essence.

I am Laurynas Vaitkus. Was born, has grown and I live in Vilnius though the nature and village is lovelier to my heart. :) At present I study on the first course of a magistracy of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in a class of Irmantas Andriunas. For me Music is like a second wife, only a little bit on another. :) Many ask me, why I play on birbyne, instead of any serious instrument. Then I have a question what the serious instrument means? Why is birbyne (personally I play the tenor) not a serious instrument? Come to our concert and you will see, that I with my birbyne do not concede neither to a saxophone, nor a clarnet, or any other wind instrument. By the way, said, that music is my second wife, and so: "Subtilu-Z" - my second family. :) Also I work as the teacher at musical school, and at a leisure time the greatest pleasure for me delivers fishing.

Vytautas Svazas. Started playing when had made the first drum. I play, because so it is pleasant to me. As says Povilas, I am called by the musical calling. Meanwhile have finished only musical academy "Subtilu-Z". I study at the VGTU, a speciality - engineering of roads and railways. These are quite incompatible things, but, I think, it is not the last such "shame" in my life. I like to do things that are new, and aren't clear up to the end. More shortly, I am the big ambiguity to everybody, including myself.

In 2005 instrumental music group "Subtilu-Z" have created Dmitry with Povilas. In 2007 Vytautas has joined it, and a one year later - Laurynas. So all it is together played since 2008 and in this time participated and became winners in the most different festivals and competitions.

Competitions:

2007 Republican competition of accordion music, category of ensembles - II place;
2008 XVIII International competition of accordion music „Citta di Lanciano“ (Italy), category of ensembles - I place;
2009 One of the most prestigious international competitions of accordion music „Citta di Castelfidardo“ (Italy), category of ensembles – III place;
2011 I International competition of accordion music „Vilnius 2011“, category of ensembles - I place.

Festivals:

Every year we participate in the international festivals, spent in Vilnius and Palanga;
2007 and 2009 The international festival of accordion music in Daugavpils (Latvia);
2008 The international festival of accordion music in Shaulyai "The Cheerful accordion";
2009 The international festival of street theater in Klaipeda;
2009 and 2011 The international festival of accordion music in Koszalin (Poland);

Concerts:

In 2009 have organized concert round from 20 performances during which time played different cities of Lithuania;
2010 "Live lunch music" („Pietų muzika gyvai“);
2010 "To live it is impossible to die" („Gyventi negalima mirti“);
2010 "Days of capital" („Sostinės dienos“);
2010 "Accordion bridges - Klaipeda" („Akordeono tiltai – Klaipėda“);
In 2011 have organized concert round from 16 performances during which time played different cities of Lithuania.

The other:

In general educational and music schools actively we carry out the program of music education for children. We organize charitable concerts in children's homes.

In 2010 the president of Lithuanian Republic Dalia Gribauskaite “Subtilu-Z” it is awarded by the thankful reading and writing for the brought III place from the international competition of accordion music “Citta di Castelfidardo” (Italy).
